AIFCo is a multifaceted international corporation and is a subsidiary of MULTINACSA, a conglomerate offering an extensive range of services and products in Central America with presence in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and the United States. MULTINACSA encompasses diverse companies such as MAYCOM in Guatemala, which administers, produces and emits all drivers’ licenses for the country and Docusal, which emits the primary identification document for El Salvador. MULTINACSA is also comprised of companies dealing with financial services, accounting and legal consulting; real estate investment, product manufacturing, agriculture, animal breeding and community service. This includes a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthcare and education to the needy in Nicaragua. One of MULTINACSA’s core companies is AIFCo, the exclusive representative of Western Union in Central America since 1991. Presently there are over 1,760 Western Union agencies in the region.
